I am a very graphic, bright, forward-thinking artist, and I think that's what makes streetwear so interesting and important. We’re all street-savvy artists. We're all artists. We all have ideas and we all know we need to share those with others. And I haven’t wasted a second. I’m a full-time street artist; I was the first person to do a graffiti magazine for three years. I love street art.

I am a street artist that can use a pencil. I don’t know the difference between the street and the glossy anymore. I don’t know the difference between street style and fashion. I’ve seen the two. I’ve seen the streetwear and I’ve seen the streets, and I’m a very proud man. I’ve been around so many people that I don’t know and they’ve been doing the same thing, so it’s just this weird cross-pollination of two worlds. The world of streetwear is a lot of art. The world of high fashion is very, very hard work.

I am a little bit of a historian and I love to talk about that. The streetwear trends are in full swing right now. It brings a sense of energy to streetwear. There’s this idea of being on trend or following a trend, and it’s more than that. It’s always evolving and having a whole new feel to it. That’s why I love the movement, it brings energy and it’s fun to be a part of that.

I am not a typical streetwear designer. I’m not a fashion designer. That’s a whole different story. Fashion is not just a way to sell merchandise. I’m a hip, smart, creative designer who wants to make people feel better when they go out to eat. I designed the clothing with the idea of comfort in mind, and I am now doing a lot of art for streetwear. It’s a big change for me because I don’t want to just do art for streetwear. I want to make people feel better when they go out to eat.
